General Counselling
People often come to therapy because they are experiencing confusion, distress or difficulty in their lives. These difficulties can impact one’s sense of self as well as one’s relationships with others.
Life can be painful at times. Working with a therapist who provides a strong therapeutic presence can support you to better manage and understand your thoughts, feelings and actions (or inactions). It can also uncover deeper issues that may be preventing you from living your best life. Counselling is not designed to give you advice or solve your problems for you, counselling aims to create safety in presence through listening with care and compassion. Therapy can provide an opportunity to help you understand yourself better, to enhance clarity regarding your issues or concerns and it can be a great source of support and encouragement in your choice to make helpful changes.
If life is feeling difficult it is important to understand that you do not have to go through it alone.
