People often come to therapy because they are experiencing confusion, distress or difficulty in their lives. These difficulties can impact one’s sense of self as well as one’s relationships with others.

Life can be painful at times. Working with a therapist who provides a strong therapeutic presence can support you to better manage and understand your thoughts, feelings and actions (or inactions). It can also uncover deeper issues that may be preventing you from living your best life.

Counselling is not designed to give you advice or solve your problems for you — it aims to create safety and presence through listening with care and compassion. Therapy provides an opportunity to understand yourself better, to gain clarity around your concerns, and to find real support and encouragement as you make the changes that matter to you.
