Anahata Counselling

Confidentiality

When faced with varying challenges in life, we can be exposed to feelings such as anxiety, worry, and overwhelm. Though we may have the support and encouragement of our family and friends, there are times when counselling can help in ways that other relationships cannot.

Therapy provides an opportunity to view and understand your own experience and can help you arrive at the solutions that are right for you. Counselling is an experiential process — designed to accompany, not direct — supporting you toward a life of thriving rather than just surviving.

Successful counselling depends on safety, trust, and confidentiality. As a member of a professional counselling body, Bronte abides by a strict code of ethics and takes your confidentiality and safety seriously. Confidentiality is assured, with the only exception being where there may be a threat to the safety of others or to oneself. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to discuss them at any time.

Sessions are tailored to your needs, and together you and Bronte decide how counselling might best support you. Making the decision to seek counselling takes courage — and it is a privilege to walk beside you during this time.
